Prensa Libre photographers Emerson Diaz and Mario Linares walk arm in arm after being released by former paramilitary fighters in La Libertad. Former paramilitary fighters released seven people, including four journalists, on Tuesday after the government promised to pay them for their services during Guatemala's 36-year civil war. Catalina Soberanis, head of a government organization in charge of monitoring the country's peace process, said the government signed a document in which it promised to pay the former fighters.
